ONE LIFE
One little life, the world's your oyster,
The journey has begun, it gains momentum, ever faster.
Take a road less travelled but the paths never clear,
Crossroads viewed from rearview mirror.
The Irish
Scars carried, proud badges worn, a testament to lessons learned.
Some fading, baggage gone, other hidden battles,
my heart has never won.
Bittersweet moments dreams of paths never followed,
Gut twisted, heart wrenched, rebuild and make stronger?
A want to surrender, oh agony exquisite, To the head no heeds paid,
Stay a while and embrace it.
But there's no turning back the journey continues,
No going back, will regrets remain few?
Right choices made?
If only we knew.
